ARTIST MANAGEMENT

 

Creative artists working in visual arts, writing, theatre and music, face a double challenge.   In today's competitive

world, in addition to creating original work, they must deal with professional challenges that include membership in arts organizations, applying for funding, finding sponsors, developing proposals for projects, as well as defining and explaining what makes each artist unique.   The practical details of royalty streams, planning performance opportunities, booking, tour planning, recording, promotion and publicity can become overwhelming.

We offer a complete range of dedicated services to help performers and artists in all disciplines deal with this.

We provide career advisement and planning, help artists identify and present what is unique about their work, write funding applications, book and coordinate tours, identify income opportunities and royalty streams, advise on contracts, agreements and professional relationships and help make sure that an artist is taking full advantage of the rights and opportunities to which they are entitled, in order to reach the widest possible audience and gain access to international markets.

We have been very successful with the funding applications we have written for artists to the City of St. John's, Arts NL, MusicNL, the Canada Council and FACTOR.    Through these, artists have received support for touring, recording projects, performances, attendance at arts conferences and we organized a local concert performance series and a major international music conference.
